Welcome to Creative Cooks!

Sicomac PTO Presents: Creative Cooks After-School Program

Come explore Spring foods with Creative Cooks owner/Chef Angie Shaghaghi
and explore the kitchen like never before! Chef Angie has been working with kids for over ten years. She has been featured on Food Networks ‘Chopped’, Fox 5 News, cover of (201) Magazine, and a runner up for Rachael Ray’s reality show, “Hey, Can You Cook?!”.

Chef Angie firmly believes that kids who have a hand in cooking,
are more likely to try new foods and exhibit more confidence in themselves.
Below is her recipe for a successful and healthy cooking class:

Start with the students suiting up in aprons (provided)
and proper hand washing. Next, the introduction of the cuisine: the what, who, and how the dish came into existence. Then basic kitchen instructions and “jobs” will be assigned. The final result will be the delicious meal the students sit down to enjoy together! (Recipes will be provided and NO nuts/shell fish will be used).

Menu planning, preparing shopping list and hosting skills will also be incorporated and have these chefs ready to entertain by the end of the 6 weeks!

Classes are on Mondays from 3:30-4:30pm on:

April 15, 22, 29 | May 6, 13, 20

Open to Girls and Boys in K-5th grade. Cost $140
